The vibe here is casual and efficient, perfect for grabbing a skilled cappuccino or an Italian-style cornetto before heading off to work. Locals appreciate the speedy service and consistently good coffee, making it a practical stop during busy mornings. The outdoor seating nearby, with views of the wetlands, provides a relaxed spot to sit with a black coffee and enjoy a brief pause from the road or daily routine.

The food menu includes light options such as breakfast burritos and well-regarded pizza slices, appealing to those wanting a casual snack or lunch alongside their drink.

This place feels particularly suited to travelers passing through Mill Valley or locals who appreciate an authentic European coffee experience with friendly service. The Italian roots of the owners shine through both in the quality of the pastries and the warm, straightforward hospitality. A perfect cappuccino for $5 and 2 minutes of your time! I started stopping here on my way to work and beyond happy with the quality of their cappuccinos, not to mention their price point and speediness! I tried one of their breakfast burritos this morning and was a 10/10! I highly recommend this place! Great people too!

Love Cable Car Cafe! The staff are always so friendly and they have an amazing selection of baked goods made fresh daily!! The Banana Bread is my favorite. The pizza slices are also a great lunch option! 10/10 recommend!!

Satisfying black coffee served from a cute cable car. Wetlands make a fine backdrop for together time on a road trip. Close and convenient to the highway.

Fantastic caffe’. Quick , easy and best of all delicious. Coffee , espresso, macchiato and cappuccino are the best. The croissants - cornetti - are amazing. Cornetti with chocolate , cream and almonds. I couldn’t resist to get more than one to take home for the family. The owner is Italian!! ????????

Great little place. It looks like a drive up only but we walked up & they do have some outdoor seating. Decent coffee, quick service, super-friendly staff, and even the quick-heat breakfast burritos were pretty good! (I had the green chile.) And you can't beat the prices. If I lived in the area this would probably be my regular morning pick-me-up :)
